The superintendent also said, “The Park has a reward program to; assist in combating illegal hunting within the Park.” A reward will bepaid to any person who furnishes information which leads to the con vie-. tion of anyone who hunts, transports . or attempts to transport illegally, taken wildlife within Shenandoah National Park. The identity of all persons furnishing information will be kept strictly confidential, and the person does not have to reveal his name.
Shenandoah National Park was set aside as a preserve where wildlife can prosper and be protected for ’ all generations. “This gift to all of us ' is being threatened by poachers, and' we need your support,” Mr. Wrye', said.
