Fred William Dodson, son of
Mrs. James S. Dodson of Flint Hill, was declared Rappahannock winner of the 1965-66 Sears Sow 4-H project. He was awarded a blue ribbon and $18.40 at a banquet held Friday evening in Front Royal.
Miss Evelyn Beatty of Front Royal was awarded a blue ribbon on a painting of Fletcher’s Mill near Sperryville at the Warren County Fair this season past. The old mill is a favorite subject of artists and photographers alike. Fletcher’s Mill stands near Erin, the home of the late Mr. and Mrs. James H. Fletcher, now owned by their daughter, Mrs. Eugene Wood and Mr. Wood.
