fingerprint
The Child Care and Learning Center has asked the Rappahannock County Sheriffs Department to assist in fingerprinting children enrolled at the Center. The fingerprinting is being done for identification purposes only.
Captain Edwin G. Streapy from the Sheriffs Department will be at the Learning Center on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The fingerprinting program is voluntary, according to Carrie Anabo, the Learning Center’s director. The identification cards with each child’s fingerprints will be sent home Math the children, for parents to keep on record.
Mrs. Anabo said that the program is open to the entire community, and she urged any parents who are interested in having their children fingerprinted to call CCLC (676-3237) for further information.
