Alice V. Lawson
Alice Virginia Lawson, 68, of Marshall, died November 1 in the Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.
Mrs. Lawson was bom July 4, 1918, in Loudoun County, the daughter of the late Edgar and Edith Costello Fawley. She was married to James Milton Lawson, who predeceased her.
Surviving are three sons, Herbert E. Lawson of Morristown, Tenn., William H. Lawson and James R. Lawson of Marshall, four daughters, Mary E. Gray of Marshall, Nancy L. Foster of Flint Hill, Betty J. Fewell of The Plains and Peggy F. Leonard of Springfield, a brother Henry T. Fawley of Hamilton, a sister, Helen Maggetti of Exmore, her companion, Hunton Leonard, 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted Nov. 4 at the Royston Funeral Home Inc., Marshall, by Rev. Vinton Williams. Burial was in Middleburg Memorial Cemetery.
