Kance The Award Committee was proud to present its first award to Phillip Wayne Taylor of Edinburg, Virginia. Phillip is a freshman at Lord Fairfax Community College. He will major in agriculture and train to teach agriculture in the Shenandoah County schools. He has been active in Future Farmers of America, holding several top offices including chapter presidency. A footnote: we learned during the presentation ceremony last July that Phillip celebrates his 19th birthday on November 9—the anniversary of Ranee’s death. Happy Birthday, Phillip!
