The Conyers House on Rt. 707 near Slate Mills in southern Rappahannock County will hold a half-day workshop for prospective innkeepers on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. “until the last question is answered,” according to Sandra' Cartwright-Brown, the innkeeper and host for the popular seminar.

Luncheon and a behind-thescenes tour are included in the $45 tuition. Mrs. Cartwright-Brown said that the workshops are held on a “demand basis — whenever the waiting list is long enough, or in this case, when two prospective innkeepers from Florida are in the area looking for property and only have two days - we schedule another workshop. Last year, our seven workshops resulted in 10 new bed and breakfasts.”
