The Amissville Ruritan Club

held its monthly meeting recently at the Amissville Volunteer Fire Hall. The guest speaker was A. T. Reed, Culpeper Area Manager for the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company. Mr. Reed gave a brief outline of telephone history to date from the year 1894.
