free AIDS forum
AIDS will be the subject of a free health forum to be held at Culpeper Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the hospital dining room.
Dr. Harold Markham, family practice physician of Culpeper and chairman of the Infection Control Committee at CMH, will co-host the discussion along with Dr. John Einarson, Culpeper County Health Director.
The one-hour presentation will focus on removing fear of AIDS through education and awareness. A film produced through the American Red Cross will be shown to explain the disease and how it is transmitted. Drs. Einarson and Markham will follow up with statistics and comments on testing and confidentiality, then proceed to answer questions from the audience.
