Orange County is very rich in history. To celebrate the anniversary of the Constitution, one of its authors and a resident of the county, “former President James Madison,” will appear at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on the steps of the Courthouse to address the crowds. President Madison’s local residence, Montpelier, will be open to the public. Montpelier, owned by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is open to the public and has plenty of free parking with guided foot and bus tours.
Town parking for the day is plentiful and free for the festival visitors. On the map, Orange is easy to locate by following state and U.S. routes 15 and 20.
For more information on the festival, contact the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, or call (703)672-5216.
