School students ; in grades 6 through 9 will visit France for eight days in May 1978, according to William Lynn, the school's administrator. The trip has been arranged through the Franco-American Committee for Educational Travel, a branch of the French Cultural Ministry, by Dr. Eugene P. Cognon-d’Harcourt of Wakefield, a native of France.

Welfare Department has a fresh and smiling face behind the desk in the social worker’s office. Mary Wilkins took over this week the position vacated by Sylvia Kreitler who was promoted to social services director in July.

Lynn Wood Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Jones of SperryviUe, has been cast in St. Mary’s College production of “Sweeney Todd.” She is a high school senior at the intermediate women’s college.
