For the first time, the Waterford, Va., “Homes Tour and Crafts Exhibit” will have advance tickets available through TicketCenter outlets in the Washington, Baltimore and Richmond metro areas.
In addition, Loudoun County residents may purchase advance tickets at the Loudoun Museum in Leesburg and at the Loudoun Times Mirror office in Sterling.
The fair, Virginia’s oldest, is set for Friday through Sunday, Oct. 2-4, in the National Historic Landmark village of Waterford, Va. Over 25,000 people attend the event each year, held throughout the 254-yearold village founded in 1733 by Quakers.
The cost of advance tickets is $6 per person per day. Children 12 and under are free. At the gate, tickets will cost $8.
Advance tickets will be on sale from Aug. 15 through Oct. 1.

In the greater Washington area, tickets will be sold at all Hecht’s stores, the Patriot Center, and RFK Stadium, as well as TicketCenter outlets.
In Richmond, tickets are on sale at most Standard Drugs/Medco Stores, at the Richmond Coliseum, and TicketCenter outlets.
In the Baltimore area, tickets are available at all Hecht’s and other TicketCenter outlets.
