Correction
In last week’s story about the September meeting of the Washington Town Council, it was incorrectly reported that the category of $1,000 allocated in the budget to the Water Department was to be spent to establish an office for the department’s superintendent.
In fact, the money will be used to purchase supplies for the department throughout the year.
The Rappahannock News regrets the error.
