Geraldine Devers
Geraldine (Jerry) Mitchell Devers, 65, died Sept. 18 at her home in Front Royal.
Mrs. Devers was bom Nov. 28, 1921, in Watson, the daughter of the late Will and Minnie Love Mitchell.
She was a retired employee in the accounting department of the Avtex Corporation, and was a member of the Valley Ladies Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America.
Surviving are her husband Larry Allen Devers, a son James L. Thomas of Haymarket, two daughters, Jayne Sisk of Sperryville and Johanna Thompson of Front Royal, two brothers, Claude Mitchell of Leesburg and Jacklin Mitchell of Annandale, a sister, Margaret Hummer of Lusby, Md., and five grandchildren.
