Grenelefe is a comfortable farm house whose interior retains a colonial charm. In the dining room are Chippendale chairs and an 1840 American sideboard and a lovely Chippendale game table in the living room. Other furnishings include mementos of the Binghams’ 6 172 year service in the Marines and 19 1/2 years in the Army with duty in Korea, Germany, the Panama Canal Zone and Vietnam.
Headquarters for the tour and the dried flower sales room is the Parish Hall of Trinity Church. Tickets will be on sale there and at the individual homes, $6 for three homes and tea and $2.50 for single homes. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
