Mrs. Catherine Jenkins Smith, 70, of Culpeper, died Oct. 12, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Rappahannock County and had lived in Culpeper.
She was retired from Gay heart Drug Store.
Survivors include her husband, Benjamin F. Smith of Culpeper; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Lindsay, Miss Francis Smith and Mrs. Linda S. Seale, all of Culpeper; five sons, Frank Smith Jr., Roger Smith, Billy Smith, and Tim Smith, all of Culpeper, Granville Smith of Reva; three brothers, James Jenkins of Middleburg, John Jenkins of Petersburg, Lester Jenkins of Chester; two brothers predeceased, Ennis Jenkins and L.H. Jenkins; three sisters, Hilda Burke, Inez Burke and Beulah Payne, all of Richmond; 17 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Her parents were the late John Golden and Lena Gay Fincham Jenkins.
A funeral service was held at ■ Clore Funeral Home chapel on Oct. 15. The Rev. Bobby Rooper officiated. Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.
