On behalf of the Rappahannock County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association, I would like to thank all the fire and rescue personnel and ‘fire and rescue companies who participated in the “Fire Prevention Day” held on Oct. 7 at the Rappahannock High School. A special thanks goes to John Toth for the use of the school, to Pat Lawler, for making sure the school was secure at the end of the day, and to Mike Brown and Mike Atkins for their donation of two vehicles that were used in our vehicle extrication exercise.
