The Lord Fairfax Community College Philosophical Society will hold the second meeting of the 198990 academic year on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 2 at the College campus in Middletown. The theme of the meeting is “The Futures of the Shenandoah Valley.”

The agenda for this meeting will include a lecture and discussion on regional trends and values resulting from growth and change.

Tom Christoffel, the speaker, is Director of the Lord Fairfax Planning District Commission staff.
