Benji said he was representing the Student Council in making his presentation. “If we are in the wrong, we appologize, but we feel we are being used to make up for a mistake the School Board made.”
The students waited through the rest of the meeting, including waiting through a long executive session. During the regular meeting School Superintendent David Gangel estimated that the county would probably receive $36,000 less in basic aid from the state than was expected when the budget was made up.
