Happy birthday to Mrs. Mae Smoot who celebrated her , birthday on Wednesday, Oct. 18th.
Mrs. Jean B. Moffett will arrive home Friday accompanied by her daughter Mrs. Cartie Welling of Ledyard, Conn, after spending three months with the Welling family there. Mrs. Welling will be visiting her with her mother and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moffett, Holly and Melanie for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Page Moffett, Billy and Sally Page of Leesburg are expected as weekend guests in the Moffett home.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Middlebrooke of Front Royal were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Elizabeth Settle and,,, Jimmy.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley camped in Gettsyburg, Pa. from Thursday until Monday. Friday they toured the Eisenhower National Historic Sight and the Eisenhower home. Saturday they visited the Land of Little Horses and Sunday they attended the National Apple Harvest Festival in Arendtsville, Pa.
