Bloodmobile
in The Plains
The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at the Grace Episcopal Church in The Plains on Thursday, October 26 between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. with a goal of collecting 30 units.
The four blood drives each year in the northern part of the county — two each at Marshall and The Plains — have been among the most successful conducted by the Fauquier Chapter of the Red Cross, usually exceeding the goal. The Bloodmobiles are timed so that anyone who contributed in Marshall in August is now eligible to donate at The Plains, notes Ned Turner, captain of The Plains blood team, and will be eligible to donate again at Marshall in January.
