Amissville 4-H Club will meet Thursday, Sept. 20th at 7 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church. The program will be given by Alice Reeve, a Rappahannock County 4-H’er, on her 4-H International Exchange Trip to Germany during the summer. Youth ages 9-19 are welcome to join. The Rappahannock Athletic Association (RAA) Little League community meeting will be held 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 20 at the Rappahannock County High School. Everyone is invited, especially coaches, board members, or anyone desiring to coach next year. 1991 Officers will also be elected. Parents of Little Leaguers are requested to bring baked items to sell at the Amissville Firemen’s Festival on Sept. 29 and 30.
Amissville Homemakers Club will conduct a padded picture frame workshop on Friday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. at Amissville Baptist.
In fire department news, help spread the word about the festival on Sept. 29 and 30. Also, a special bingo on Oct. 13 will be held with doors open at 5; and early bird starting at 6. All tickets must be sold in advance. Call Carroll Settle at 9374781 after 6.
