NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR AWARD OF CABLE TELEVISION
FRANCHISE, AND FOR PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Town of Washington, Virginia, has issued a Request for Proposals for Award of Cable Television Franchise in the Town of Washington, Virginia, pursuant to Cable Television Ordinance adopted by the Town on August 8,1990. This Request for Proposals requires that a proposal be filed by 4:30 P.M. October 8, 1990, and a public hearing will be held at the October 10, 1990 Town Council meeting at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard.
The public is hereby notified that the Town Council will, pursuant to its Cable Television Ordinance, hold a public hearing on October 10, 1990, to review the proposals submitted to it in accordance with this Request for Proposals, and to consider whether to award a franchise. This public hearing shall be held at 7:30 p.m., October 10,1990, in the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard. All persons having an interest in the subject matter are hereby invited to attend and present their views.
A copy of the Request for Proposals and the Cable Television Ordinance is available for inspection in the Office of the County Administrator of Rappahannock County, on Main Street in Washington, Virginia, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
