On Nov. 5, the opening day of turkey season in western Virginia, young hunters will be able to participate in hunting more safely, if they take advantage of the Jakes Event.
“We hope that these young people will not only learn ethical, safe hunting practices but that this will be the start of a lifetime committed to wildlife conservation,” Mr. Kelley said.
