Register for youth soccer
It's not too late to register for youth soccer. Boys and girls in grades K-8 are eligible, the cost is $15 and practice started Monday.
On Saturday, Sept. 14 there will be a soccer clinic at the Rappahannock Elementary field. All players with soccer balls are encouraged to bring them that day, clearly marked with their name.
Also, uniforms will be distributed at the clinic and the drawing for Susan Parrish's homemade quilt will be held.

Candidates to visit Sept 21
The candidates for state and national office will be at a Candidate's Forum, sponsored by the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection, at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 in the Child Care and Learning Center pavilion.
Candidates for the Virginia General Assembly and the U.S. Congress are being invited to speak and answer questions.
Refreshments will be served and the public is invited.
