Inside the 5,000-plus square-foot building, hosting visitors, seating areas and rows upon rows of books, • there was space to move.
Replacing the old circulation desk is a massive walnut L-shaped circulation desk, donated by the Friends of the Library. Its brass pulls and polish are highlighted by the deep colored wood and green, mock marble on top. It was made by Tom Von Fange of Rappahannock County, using a Page County walnut tree.
Above the desk ticks a wall clock presented to the library by local clockmaker Eugene Tucker. Mr. Tucker donated two wall clocks to the facility.
