• Two Vienna men were charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop for speeding on U.S. 211 at 11:10 a.m. Sept. 8, according to Sgt. D.S. Adams of the State Police.
Stephen Michael Shindle, 22, of Vienna, was operating a 1986 Mercury two-door westbound when Trooper R.E. Keen stopped him for speeding, said Sgt. Adams.
After consent to search was granted, said Sgt. Adams, Shindle and a passenger, David C. Shindle, 24, also of Vienna, were charged with possession of marijuana.
