Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gardiner and daughter Danielle of Arnold, Md. were weekend guests of their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Wood at “Dun’Lookin.” Their great grandson Stephen Christopher Filyo, eight years of age of Roselle, 111. recently spent a weekend here with them.
Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville spent the Labor Day weekend with her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier and with them dined at the Chesapeake Seafood House in Fredericksburg on Sunday. On Monday they visited Mr. and Mrs. Lacy Corbin in Winchester.
The Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church honored Mr. and Mrs. Tom Heffem with a wedding shower at the church Saturday evening with about fifty in attendance.
Luncheon guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Butler were Mr. and Mrs. Scott Keithley of New Baltimore, Mrs. Lottie Johnston, Mrs. George Butler, Mrs. Cary Thornhill and Mrs. Wayne Butler and Angela.
