The Board of Supervisors voted to authorise County Administrator John McCarthy and Commonwealth’s Attorney Peter Luke to go to court, if neeessary, to enforce the county’s zoning ordinance in two cases where it is allegedly being violated.
One property, owned by Douglas Ryder and Evjlyn Massey, west of Sperryville across from the Cafr Inn, contains trailers, building additions and abandoned vehicles. The owners are in violation of setback requirements, have not obtained building permits for the addin tions, and have not responded to complaints from M£ McCarthy’s office, he said. **>
