Gangel: Time
to plan for
middle school

School Superintendent David Gangel told the Board of Supervisors last week that the growth in enrollment this school year indicates that the time has come to start planning for a middle school.
Dr. Gangel said the schools are not yet overcrowded, but with a four-year lag between planning for building and having the classroom space available, it is now time to make plans.
Last year the schools started with an average enrollment for September of 939. This year there were 974 students in school on the first day, and by the
