Homecoming '94 at Hazel River Hazel River Assembly of God in Rixeyville will be having Homecoming *94 on Oct. 14-16. Pastor Steve Dodson would like to extend a personal invitation to each and everyone who would like to attend this special revival. Friday and Saturday night services will begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday services will begin at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday dinner will be served in the fellowship hall at the church immediately following Sunday morning worship service. There will be special music and singing each service. Guest speaker for these meetings will be former pastor, Rev. Chester Caudill. Rev. Scholarship Rally Day The Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Ministers and Deacons Union Scholarhsip Committee will hold its second Rally Day at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, oct. 15 at the Rock Hall Baptist Church in Wolftown. The honorees this year are the late Deacon George Tolbert and the late Deacon Howard H. Butler. Funds received from the Rally will be used to award scholarships to qualified, graduating seniors in the spring.
