should run on its record. It is a good one. When I look at the Republicans I see a party that wants to give a tax cut to the rich. To hell with the budget deficit. I see a party that would turn away from the Haitien people because the Haitiens are poor and black, not a Republican constituency. To hell with liberty and justice for all. I see a party that would lock up all the criminals and throw away the key rather than spend money up front to fund education and create jobs so that young people don’t turn to crime and drugs. Personally I’m sick of the Republicans lies and easy answer because the answers are too easy. Life is a lot harder and more complicated than they’d have us believe.
I’m voting for Senator Robb even though he’s had flaws in his personal life. He’s admitted his personal wrongs and continued to work on legislation that would benefit us all. Oliver North, though, after being convicted of three felony counts and let off on a technicality, has continued to deny any wrongdoing. It would be a disgrace and embarassment to Virginia and its proud history to have this man representing us in the U.S. Senate.
