Rappahannock New* Staff Writer , It’s happened again. Twentythree years ago, hornets built a nest on a picture window at Maurice and Jane Herndons’ house in Alexandria, and this time there is one on their bedroom window in Sperryville.
“We think these are cousins of the ones in Alexandria. We treat them like relatives,” said Mrs. Herndon.
, i The fascinating thing about the nest is that the entire nestbuilding operation can be safely observed from inside the bedroom window.
