Bingham’s suggestion that we use the Aileen factory to bring in a profit from the detention of 500 Wayward Children.

Children are dependent on the adults in their lives for their physical, educational, emotional, spiritual and moral development. This ageold cultural mechanism is often prevented, by its own inadequacies, from succeeding. As a result, the child fails and suffers profoundly from that failure.

Is it reasonable to suggest that we might profit from this failure? It seems wrong to seek profit from the abuse and neglect that has caused this discouraging state.
