Janice Moffett resigned from the Washington Town Council in a letter to Mayor Stew Willis dated September 26. Copies were sent to town at-\ tomey Frank Reynolds and other members of the Town Council.
The letter said, “After the election, I wrote to each Council Member expressing my hope that the bad feelings of the election could be put behind us, and that we would work together for the good of the Town.”

In the story about Jack Russell terriers in the Oct. 5 issue of the Rappahannock News, Mr. Forbush was credited with saying that in England the terriers would go down fox holes and kill the foxes. The truth is that the terriers would go down the fox hole and chase out the fox, but would not kill it. The Rappahannock News regrets the error.
