Dance at Amissville

The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will have a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 with the band Pure Country. For reservations call Sheila Scott at 937-4357.

Benefit Bake Sale

The Washington Baptist Church will have a bake sale on Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Washington Post Office beginning at 9 a.m. All donation of food or money will be greatly appreciated. For more information contact Sarah Brown, 675-3624. \

Church Benefit Breakfast

The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will serve breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Flint Hill fire hall. The menu will consist of sausage gravy, biscuits, bacon, potatoes, apples, monkey bread, fruits and drinks. Cost will be $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. The ladies of the Church will also have a bake sale at the same time.

Play Planned, Participants Sought

The plan is that the “The Three Kings” will be performed on Dec. 17-18 in Washington. All who performed in this play last year, please call Ellen Manson at 675-1349 to confirm your participation this year. The first rehearsal is at J p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16 at Ki Theatre.

Support Group Meeting

The Blue Ridge Head Iryury Support Group will meet from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Barbara’s house in Midland. Any head injuried person, family members, friends, persons interested in the problems of head injuried persons or person interested in helping with the group are invited to attend.
