The Smithsonian Chamber Music Society inaugurates its fourth season at the Theatre at Washington at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 with a concert of music by Johann Sebastian Bach.
The Society’s artistic director for the series, ‘cellist and conductor Kenneth Slowik, will be joined by its founder, harpsichordist James Weaver, and its principal violinist, Marilyn McDonald.

On Saturday, Oct. 28, the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) is hosting a coffee hour reception in honor of Bill Young, whose photography is currently on display at the Rappahannock County Library.
The display represent 58 years of traveling with a camera.
The informal reception will be held at the Library at 10:30 a.m. Friends, neighbors, and all interested persons are cordially invited to attend.
