Scheer

To the Editor:

I’m writing to encourage people to vote and vote for Sue Scheer on Nov. 7. Here’s why:

Each one of us is feeling pressure from development of our precious countryside. We have a voice and need to vote to help preserve this place we call home.

Sue Scheer has lived in the district for 30 years, raised a family, and farms the land with her husband, Julian. She understands the ways of rural life that are near and dear to us. Her opponent, on the other hand, moved into the district to run for office, rents a house, doesn’t pay any real estate tax, and has lived in the district only slightly longer them his term as delegate.

This is the first elected office Mrs. Scheer has run for and the more I learn about her, the more I admire her courage and faith to stand up for her beliefs. Sue Scheer is not a career politician, but a concerned citizen who has the intelligence and sensibility to respect her tri-county district well in Richmond.
