Cunningham
Raymond James Cunningham, 53, of Amissville died Oct. 11 at his residence.
Mr. Cunningham was bom Dec. 3, 1941, in Kettering, North Ants, England.
He was an engineer for recording studios.
Survivors include his mother, Violet M. Robinson of Kettering, England; his wife, Bertha V. Cunningham of Amissville; one stepdaughter, Chantel Pentz of Bealeton and two grandchildren.
Additional survivors include two sisters, Mary Cunningham of England and Diane Well of Belgium and one brother, Steve Robinson of England.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Oct. 15 at Amissville United Methodist Church with Rev. Nancy B. White officiating.
Interment was in the Amissville United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Gladys Smoot
Gladys Roberta Smoot, 65, of Culpeper died on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at her residence.
She was born Nov. 3, 1929, in Castleton to the late Brewington and Susie M. Settle.
Mrs. Smoot was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and she provided motherly care for over 30 years for many children in the Culpeper area.
Survivors include seven children, Linda Gayle Buraker, Doris S. Batiste and Stevie Lynn Smoot, all of Culpeper, Larry Wayne Smoot of Ruckersville, Brenda S. Gosling and John Randall Caylor, both of Madison and Tina Louise Caylor of New Orleans, Louisiana and six grandchil
