The Amissville Ruritan Club’s Family Fun Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 21, rain or shine. Included are a full course beef BBQ dinner served from noon to 5 p.m., live music, country line dancing demonstrations and lessons, crafts, flea market, bake sale, raffle, and much more.

Other food and drinks will be available throughout the day. Cost of the barbecue dinner is $8 for adults; $4 for children; cold drinks $.50 (tea and coffee served with dinner); BBQ sandwich with cole slaw is $4.

You are encpuraged to bring a lawn chair and enjoy the whole day. The event is located at Stuart Field, U.S. 211.

It’s not too late to reserve your 10 foot x 10 foot space for encouraged to sign up by 6 p.m., Oct. 19. If you are unable to sing up ahead of time, please come on out, but be set up by 10 a.m. Field opens at 8 a.m. for set up. Call 937-5500 to sign up.

Baked goods and raffle items are also still needed. Call Lorraine at 9375500 to sing up for these donations as well.

8 a.m. — Field opens for set up by crafters, etc.

10 a.m. to 11 a.m. — (Re-Rom,) a 7-piece bluegrass gospel band will perform; there tapes will be available for sale.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Country Line Dancing by the group “Keepin
