Union of Operating Engineers for 47 years. He was a member of the Robert Laing Memorial VFW Post #9835 in Warrenton.

Survivors include his wife, Frances E. Breeden of Unionville; one son, Clate M. Breeden Jr. of Rhoadesville; one daughter, Wanda Breeden Jeffries of Unionville; one brother, Morris Breeden of Amissville; one sister, Vera Hughes of Alexandria and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Earlene Frances Breeden in November of 1964.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Sept. 15 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton, with the Rev. J. Richard Winter officiating.

Interment was in Warrenton Cemetery.

Lucy Wood

Mrs. Lucy Ruffner Dunn Wood, 83, of Front Royal died Sunday in Heritage Hall Health Care Center.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Front Royal Presbyterian Church with Dr. C. Thomas Rhyne. Burial followed in Washington Masonic Cemetery'.
