RCES Book Fair Set The Scholastic Book Fair will be at the RCES library from Oct. 19 through Oct. 25. Costumed storybook characters will be visiting the library each day. The hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., except that on opening day the hours are 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Proceeds from the Book Fair benefit the library.

Halloween Dance Planned CCLC will host a Halloween dance from 6-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20 at the Washington Fire Hall. Admission is $2 per person, children, four and under $1 or $5 per family. Cemetery Committee To Meet The Odd Fellows Cemetery Committee will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23 at First Baptist Church Dining Hall in Washington. Those with family members in the cemetery are urged to attend.
