Only licensed registered nurses with extensive experience in Hospice are eligible to test for certification. Once they pass the intensive test measuring their competence in all areas of Hospice nursing, they may use the title Certified Registered Nurse Hospice (CRNH).
Dawn Rutledge of Culpeper and Kathy Clements, a resident of Madison, are the only Hospice nurses currently practicing in this area who can use the title.
