The E-911 Emergency Dispatch service has left some county residents without the service enjoyed by the rest of the county. The board requests legislation be introduced to mandate that E-911 service be provided by local governments.
The county is requesting the ability to impose' civil penalties for Zoning Chapter violations be extended to the county. It also supports the state’s fully funding its share of total cost of the Standards of Quality and opposes any plan to redistribute existing state aid as a solution to alleged disparity.
