Leroy Elton Cook, 67, of Front Royal, died Wednesday, Jan. 7 in the Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Jan. 10 at the Maddox Funeral Home with Dr. R. Mark Jordon officiating. Burial will follow in the Panorama Memorial Gardens at Waterlick.
Mr. Cook was bom July 16, 1930, in Warren County, son of the late Walter Lee and Elzora Wines Cook.
He retired from the Riverton Lime and Stone Corporation as a Quarry Supervisor.
Surviving are his wife Doris J. Fristoe Cook; one son Stephen W. Cook and wife Debbie of Front Royal; one daughter Cynthia L. Settle and husband Curtis of Amissville and six grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters Anna Lansberry, Gertrude Darr and Audrey Read, all of Front Royal and one brother, LouEllen Cooke of Fairfax.
Mr. Cook was predeceased by a brother James H. Cook.
Pallbearers were nephews.
