I have accepted the position of Chief of Police with the Town of Middleburg. I leave Rappahannock County with mixed feelings. I look forward to the challenge of my new job but am heavy hearted about leaving such a professional agency as the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office.
Under the leadership of Sheriff Gary Settle, this agency has made great advancements over the past two years. He is a true professional and gives much of jfiamself to see that you, the

Sheriff Settle stated to me recently, and I quote, “I owe the people of this county the best sheriff1s office I can give them.” You should be proud to have such a man representing you as sheriff.
