The judges comments about the paper were: “Clean, simple design and good use of typography. Good use of graphics and good mix of elements.”
The Rappahannock News placed second out of 28 papers in the non-daily group one category with 20 points. The Northern Virginia Sun, Fairfax, was first with 28 poind.
