Annie Bernice Gales of Culpeper died on Tuesday, Jan. 6 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Survivors include three daughters Elizabeth C. Scott and her husband Clarence R. Scott, Lillie M. Scurlock and Annie R. Gales-Bell; three sons William M. Gales Jr., Newton H. Gales Sr. and John A. Gales; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters Lillie M. Johnson and Irma Butler and many other relatives.
Funeral services were held at Bethel Baptist Church on Sunday, Jan.^ 11 with the Rev. Forrest Freeman officiating.
Burial was in the family section of Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Amissville.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
