artists, but with constant interruptions it was not a good place to his own work. He wanted a quiet studio where he could work and display mainly his own work. The Morency Gallery in Washington is small, but with the windows letting in the sunlight and excellent electrical lighting, he said he feels connected to the outdoors.
He said he finds Washington conducive to creativity and enjoys being in the art community here. He was pleased with the response to his work and finds the town “all around delightful.”
Garon prides himself in being able to work in a wide variety of media and especially likes using unusual production techniques. His photographs of buildings and vintage car hood ornaments and details are mostly hand-tinted with transparent oil colors. He
