Sheriff's Office should also be commended for their performance. They are dedicated individuals with the best interests of the county in mind.
Many times, their work goes unnoticed but they are out there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, working to protect citizens and property.
In addition to their assigned duties, deputies volunteer their services to assist with such events as DARE graduation, DARE Day and Shop with a Deputy. All of these benefit the youth of this county.
I would like to publicly thank each of the deputies for a job well done.
I will miss Rappahannock County, as it is a unique and wonderful place. Finally, I would like to thank all those who made me feel welcome during my time here.
