“We wanted to get started right away,” said Emily Simms, one of the teen organizers who met at the Rappahannock County Library last Sunday. Summer Craig, Jeremy Slack and David Disbrow, along with Simms, are planning a fund raiser dance in February that will feature local youth bands. They are exploring various locations to host the event.
The four county teenagers and a group of supportive parents met at the library on Sunday to address the needs and concerns of the county’s teens.
